Itinerary
Melbourne - Great Ocean Road - 12 Apostles - Loch Ard Gorge - Apollo Bay - Memorial Arch - Melbourne

Your driver-guide will pick you up at the meeting point in the morning to kick off your magical Great Ocean Road journey. You will first pass by Melbourne’s landmark, the West Gate Bridge spanning the Yarra River, as we head onward.

We will arrive at the famous Twelve Apostles at midday. Our early arrival helps avoid crowds, allowing you to take beautiful photos free from backlight. You will have plenty of time to wander along the coastal boardwalk and visit various viewing platforms to admire the stunning scenery of the Twelve Apostles.

Next, we travel to Loch Ard Gorge. Featuring a stunning combination of steep cliffs, golden beaches, crystal-clear waters and mysterious limestone formations, it ranks among Australia’s most famous natural attractions.

We then stop along the roadside in the Great Otway Rainforest to look for wild koalas. (Koalas are wild animals; sightings cannot be guaranteed.)

Enjoy lunch at your own expense at a seaside restaurant in charming Apollo Bay. Lunch will be served relatively late, so we recommend bringing some light snacks. (Snacks are not permitted to eat on the vehicle.)

On the return trip, we drive through Lorne, an elegant European-style coastal resort town. We will stop for photos at the iconic Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch, then pass the scenic township of Anglesea before returning to the meeting point in Melbourne.

(The itinerary sequence and duration are subject to change due to on-day conditions such as weather and traffic.)

(The driving distance for this tour is long. Drop-off may be late, so please do not book flights departing on the same day.)
