Back to Perth at 19:00

09:00 Nature’s Window (Kalbarri National Park)
Nature’s Window is one of Western Australia’s most iconic natural attractions, formed from layers of Tumblagooda Sandstone. To access the natural rock arch, follow the stairs, walk down a picturesque trail past lookout points and over the rock face to the rock formation, which perfectly frames the rugged upstream view of the Murchison River. It is an easy 1km walk (return) to the Window.

11:00 Red Bluff Coast
The dramatic coastal cliffs of Kalbarri’s Red Bluff offer amazing views over the ocean – perfect for whale watching. Towering 100 metres over the ocean below, Red Bluff is the ideal spot to see humpback whales which migrate along the Kalbarri coastline. You’ll be amazed by the landscape of Red Bluff – delicate threads of red rock look like tears frozen in time in formations believed to be 400 million years old. Named by Dutch explorer Willem de Vlamingh in 1697, the spectacular coastal cliffs extend 13 kilometres through Kalbarri National Park. As well as panoramic views, the area offers secluded beaches popular for swimming, snorkelling and lazing. (including lunch time, self paid).

12:30 Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake
Hutt Lagoon boasts a pink hue created by presence of carotenoid-producing algae Dunaliella salina, a source of ß-carotene, a food-colouring agent and source of vitamin A. Australians will know of Hutt Lagoon from various fashion shoots including Lancôme’s Life is Beautiful campaign and Myer’s Jennifer Hawkins Summer collection. Depending on the time of day, the season (time of year) and the amount of cloud cover, the lake changes through the spectrum of red to bubble-gum pink to a lilac purple.

14:00 Leaning Tree
When you’re cruising down the Brand Highway & North West Coastal Highway in Western Australia, you will find the famous and popular icons for travellers known as the “Leaning Trees”.
The Leaning Trees of Greenough are without a doubt very intriguing to look at. The tree lean is due to the airborne salt content that is blown with the winds off the Indian Ocean.

15:30 Jurien Bay
Jurien Bay is a coastal town in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, 220 kilometres north of Perth facing the Indian Ocean. Jurien Bay is Western Australia’s family favourite and fast emerging as popular short break destination. Jurien offers fantastic swimming, coffee, and great beaches.

Back to Perth through freeway.
Arrive in Perth at around 1900-1930.
