Travel past the sandstone buildings of the GPO and Macarthur House. See the Anzac memorial and Shrine of Remembrance. Visit Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary (entry included) - home to over 120 koalas. Lone Pine is set on 50 acres of riverside land. You can "Cuddle a Koala" and have your photo taken (optional own expense). You can also hand feed kangaroos and emus and see other unique wildlife including Tasmanian devils, wombats, dingoes, reptiles and more. Finish the afternoon with a spectacular view from Mt Coot-tha Lookout, only 8 kilometres from the centre of the city. On a clear day you can see as far as the Glasshouse Mountains and Moreton and Stradbroke Islands.
